Good Thursday to You!
I had quite a busy day yesterday. It seems that even though I’m on vacation, there are so many things that need to be done to keep prior projects moving and commitments maintained.
But our lives are largely of our own creation and sometimes I’ve got to giggle at myself.
As I look back on my life, I can see how much energy and creativity has been bursting through my seams.
As I’ve aged, I’ve also come to realize that what we create often becomes like a child that needs to be nurtured.
I think one of the reasons I’m so attracted to creating with stones is that they don’t require any maintenance. In fact, I think they love to break and spread out over the globe.
This allows the stones to have the joy of becoming something else; if stones didn’t break down, you could never have built yourself up! Many have never thought much about that.
After a pretty long process of going through all my photos from the opening of Waiting For Lightening, I put yesterday’s blog together and headed into the gym for a nice simple pushing session.
I coupled heavy Swiss ball dumbbell bench presses with heavy single arm cable pushing for five circuits. That felt just right to me.
My CD player at home broke down a few days ago. This is the third CD player I’ve been through in six years.
I’m starting to think these things are programmed to implode once the warranty period ends because each time, when I checked my warranty, it ended within a few days before the device malfunctioned.
Oh well, at least I get to upgrade my stereo as technology improves. The new one is a better model and makes even better sound than the last one, so it’s worth it.
After not having my stereo in the house for a while, I was amazed to feel the joy it brought me as the music infused my home.
I had a vision I’m drawing for Danny Way and I got started on it last night.
Even though I’m still pretty tired from the late night we had getting home from LA, my spirit fell in love with my art work and I ended up having to discipline myself to go to bed before too late last night.
I’m excited to get back and finish my project.
Today I’m taking the day off from exercise other than my tai-chi or Qi-gong practice.
I’m gong to get a good long massage today and have a steam bath, which I’m very much looking forward to!
Then I think I’ll relax and enjoy some good reading and some great food too.
WHAT IF YOU ARE ALREADY PERFECT?
It’s easy to forget that what created the Universe, created you!
When we lie under the stars at night and look into the vastness of the sky, and see the seemingly endless dance of starlight, it’s hard not to ponder the majesty of The Creation.
The cosmos is constantly changing – and, change is the only constant in our lives.
We look at the moon, we see it’s beautiful face–pitted from a long series of destructive acts, acts that would seem violent to most any observer.
Yet, there she is, moving our oceans beautifully and lighting the night sky.
When I look back on my life, I can see that the many painful experiences I’ve had were actually the experiences that led me to being the person that I am.
I can see that if my life had been too easy, I wouldn’t have empathy or compassion for those that have experienced many of the challenges I have.
Have you taken a moment to look back on your own life and be honest about the beauty hiding under the skirt of adversity?
If you need help doing that, I’ve created PPS Success Mastery Lesson 1: How To Find and Live Your Legacy so that you can put your life into healthy perspective and establish new compass bearings for your beautiful future.
YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE!
There is no copy of you. You are the only one.
Because movement is a life Principle, and the universe is constantly expanding, it is moving like a river flows.
Just as you can’t stand in the same river twice, the universe can never produce the exact same act of creation twice; other than change itself, all variables in the universe are constantly changing.
Thus, the moment of your inception was a moment that can never possibly happen again.
The events occurring during your inception, and at the moment of your birth were, and are completely novel.
Because we are all acts of absolute novelty, there will never be another one of us.
To recreate an identical you would literally require that all the creative variables were reestablished.
This would require that the universe ran in reverse until all the stars, planets, and forces were re-tuned to the exact frequency and relational state that created you.
Indeed, you are novel and you can never be anything other than your unique self.
YOU ARE PERFECT AS YOU ARE
Once you realize that Consciousness is experiencing itself in a myriad of ways in each and all sentient beings, it becomes easier to understand that you are experiencing Unconditional Love.
Because Unconditional Love is the source of ALL, it is the basis of our “being”.
Being unconditional, Love can’t say “No”. To do so would be to create conditions; if the source of our creation created conditions, they would be the same for all of us.
For example, space without relationship is empty and anyone entering this emptiness could only report, “this space is empty”.
Yet, to even do the experiment would require that you create conditions.
You would have to have an ego, a body, awareness “of”, and you would have to compare the concept of “fullness” with the perception of “emptiness”.
Essentially, you would have to create conditions in order to experience the unconditional.
That is essentially what we all did to get here so we could experience The Unconditional Love that is our authentic state of Being.
Because all judgments exemplify conditions, when we judge ourselves, we are actually departing from our authentic state, -Being–.
By realizing that your Highest-Self, your perfect state of being is actually that which is permanent and true of you, it is much easier to celebrate your uniqueness.
If I choose to be fat, I’m the perfect fat Paul.
If I choose to be angry, I’m the perfect angry Paul.
If I choose to be lazy, I’m the perfect lazy Paul.
Because there is, and only ever will be one me, how could I possibly determine if I’m as good as I should be?
I prefer to think of myself as a work of art in perpetual progress.
I know my Truth is Unconditional Love, and that I wanted to create conditions that would allow me to appreciate Unconditional Love as an experience.
If I had not done so, I could not be other than Pure Being. Though that may sound lovely to you, there are no experiences to be had in the Unconditional, for all experiences exemplify conditions.
Each day, I do my best to feel what I’m creating.
If it feels good and brings a sense of satisfaction, then I know I’m enjoying my creations.
From my own life experience, I’ve found that whenever I’m creating out of love, the creations are more fun to experience and re-experience, and they’re more fun for others to experience in relationships with me too.
Therefore, even though I know I’m timeless and Perfect in my authentic state of Being, I know I can be anything I want to be and only I can be the judge of weather that is beautiful or not.
Today, I invite you to celebrate your perfectness.
Today, I invite you to “feel what you are creating”, and if you love it, why not keep doing it!
If you don’t, why not change and become something fresh, novel and exciting!
After all, that is what the dance of life is about.
Lets create something fun, something new, something enjoyable today!
Love and chi,
Paul Chek
