Over the past 17 years that I have been doing mandala workshops, I’ve been rarely surprised by the work my students have done…
I send students paperwork explaining how to prepare for the process of creating their own mandalas, but a lot of them never read it. I know this because many of them will arrive at the workshop unprepared, then spend hours staring at a blank canvas in tears because nothing comes out of them.
And, there’s artist and filmmaker Jonathan Nagel attended my mandala workshop recently, who created an amazing piece of art you see here in just one calendar day.
Granted, Jonathan is a trained professional who is used to working on deadlines, but what he created is truly amazing.
How Jonathan channeled the Art Spirit to help him create such a thing of beauty is the subject of this week’s blog/vlog, a portion of our recent Living 4D conversation in which we did a deep dive into the personal journey of making art.
You don’t have to be a professional artist to create a piece of art that’s beautiful and meaningful to you, so long as you give your soul permission to express it, without ego or judgment.
Love and chi,
Paul
PS If you love Jonathan’s mandala every bit as much as I do, aptly named Light Bringer: Birth of Consciousness, he’s offering it as a limited edition print that you can buy at this link.
