Good Day!

I had a BEAUTIFUL day off yesterday. I spent the day with my friend and CHEK Faculty Instructor Matthew Wallden. We spent most of the day drawing, hiking in the hills, and enjoying a fire to warm us as we drew during a beautiful day of sun and clouds.

I asked my soul to give me a vision to represent my day as I began drawing after my morning meditation. My soul gave me a vision of Bodhi, The Laughing Buddha. The Laughing Buddha is a zen monk said to have lived during the period of 907-923 CE. He was a poor man who carried his belongings in a sack with him wherever he went. He is often represented as a statue in restaurants and temples, representing joy and happiness with what you have. How perfect for my day with Matthew, as we both felt Grace for what we have. I sure hope you too feel that Grace.

Here you can see Matthew putting his mandala of tai-chi up on one of my rock stacks just before we went for an evening hike to watch the sunset from the top of the hills behind my house.

This is one of the photos I took on our way down from the top of the hill. The red flower you see is in the etheric field, which is the energy field of the earth created in space. The etheric field is a chi-field; the ether is to creation at large what soil is to creation in nature; the etheric field informs the physical field or plane. You may notice the flower pedal reaching out of the photo with a drop on it. That is a drop of ether, or condensed light; that is what you are made of in essence. I’ve taken a number of photos that show the etheric field and often, you can see all sorts of plant, animal and human beings in the astral plane, which is the plane of existence one octave higher in vibration than the physical plane you are in as you read this blog. When you see photos like this or have the kind of experiences with other planes that I do every day, you learn to relax, for it becomes clear that there is no death, only transformation and new destination.

Today, I invite you to relax and look (without labeling) at what is all around you. Pay particular attention to the edges of plants as the sun rises and/or sets. There, you can see the spirits of fire (sun) enlightening other dimensions. These dimensions are always there, but the conditioned mind excludes anything not in your paradigm. Once one learns to get outside their own box, the realization of the vastness of the infinite universe emerges and one naturally wants to explore what is right next door. As we do that, we come to realize that the Love of the Universe is always there to receive us. Love is as a big party, and you always go to the party you create within your “self”. If you don’t like the party you have invited yourself to, I invite you to relax, and be like the Laughing Buddha, and create one that is fun and alive with love. In so doing, you will find yourself surrounded by all others who are also attracted to Love!

Enjoy Your Day!

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
