Hello and happy Wednesday!

I hope you all had a productive, happy-making day yesterday!

My day began with a beautiful sun meditation. I spent the day with my client Jason. Our second day together built upon the principles we covered the first day.

Our day began with a lovely walking meditation in the hills. We spent a lot of time investigating the relationship between mind (thoughts) and body. I conducted a native healing ceremony with Jason, which he really enjoyed.
Here you can see Jason’s mandala for the day’s work together. It is not only simple, but very accurately describes the events that took place throughout the day.

I used stonework to help Jason learn to take guidance from silence, his soul. He did an excellent job with the process and was able to learn to let his soul guide him to the right stones for his project very quickly.

 

I think he enjoyed learning that he doesn’t have to think his way through life any longer. He learned that he can trust his inner-voice, which is always a great relief for those that have matured to become aware of the limitations of the conditioned ego-mind.

Here you can see Jason with his first rock stack, which was really beautiful and complex. He really learned to find the balance points quickly. His stack looked like a dancing ballerina and is a great artistic addition to my front yard! Thanks Jason!

 

Jason’s really into natural healing and he shared some amazing Chinese herbal teas with me. One was a buckwheat (soba) tea that tasted like sweet breakfast cereal and gave a lovely sense of grounding.

Another was a packet of leaves that you brew, drink, and then eat the leaves. Very powerful nutrition. I’ll have to ask him the name of that one so I can order some. I’ll let you know when I find out.

I love getting to learn cool things from my patients! Jason and I will continue forward with Zero Force Coaching, during which time I will teach him how to understand Lau Tzu’s Tao Te Ching and how to apply those principles in his daily life.

Thanks for a great couple days together Jason! Your growth and self-development are truly impressive!

ARE MIND AND MATTER SEPARATE?

In David Bohm’s book, Causality and Chance In Modern Physics (p.11), David states:

“!there is a universal flux that cannot be defined explicitly but which can be known implicitly, as indicated by the explicitly definable forms and shapes, some stable, some unstable, that can be abstracted from the universal flux. In this flow, mind and matter are not separate substances. Rather, they are different aspects of one whole and unbroken movement.”

In our Newtonian word mind-set, we’ve become conditioned to perceive things outside us as separate from ourselves.

For example, we watch people dying on TV and often show little emotion or connection to such events because we externalize them as their problem. We even see our pains as external to ourselves; I wish this damn knee would quit acting up!

But is that really congruent with how the universe and life really work? Are mind and matter separate realities as so often perceived?

If you point to a square building, I see a square building “explicitly” (outside myself). Yet when we “think of a square building” implicitly contains the square (building) and the thoughts “implicitly as one”.

Mind (thought) and shape/form are indivisible, whole.

This is important to realize, for when we see, feel or perceive things that seem to be outside ourselves, yet we have emotions about them, we are being offered a chance to be aware that what we perceive outside is actually alive and influencing us inside.

Think of how you feel if your home, office or car are dirty; do you not feel that within yourself?

When we marginalize the events and people in our immediate and world environments, we often don’t understand that our emotions and pains are showing us that we can’t marginalize the whole, the truth of life and the world.

If we spend time becoming more aware of the fact that life is an indivisible whole, we realize that to the degree that we heal ourselves, we are healing the community and vice versa.

Today, instead of seeing your emotions and pains and problems inherently your own, try sensing how your surroundings are alive in you.

Be present with your feelings and follow them to their source and you may find that by cleaning up your home, office, or car that the pains you may be medicating are symptoms of marginalizing a reality that can’t be marginalized, the whole.

We must participate in self and world healing together!
