Good Friday to You!

We had another great, productive day together at HLC 2 here in New York. As you can see, we got outside for some Qi-gong at Bryant Park.

I taught my students a technique I learned from Master Fong Ha (www.fongha.com) many years ago called “zhan zung”, which means, “stand like a tree”.

My students seem to really enjoy their time outside practicing the different chi cultivation methods I’m sharing. It’s great for me because I love to be outside and cultivating chi too.

I was fortunate enough to get to sneak away with Vidya last night to see my buddy Jason Pickard for dinner again.

His chef had left him with some amazing food delights and he was happy to share with Vidya and I. Later in the evening his girlfriend came to visit too and we all had a great time winding down together.

Jason showed me this very interesting “Bell Stand”. It apparently came from a Russian gymnasium. It has a pretty heavy brass barbell, a kettle bell, a bell, and an ashtray on top! If you’ve ever been to Russia, you’d know why the ashtray is on the top!

The sun is out and it is quite warm today. It’s tai-chi ruler day, which is one of my favorite exercises to teach.

I’ll keep you updated as we go along here.

I hope you are all having a great day.

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
