Hello and happy Monday!
Well, I’m finished speaking in Toronto.
Can Fit Pro went very well. Dan Hellman and I gave a lot of presentations between the two of us.
Matt Nichol, a CHEK Practitioner and a well-known and highly respected strength coach used by many pro athletes here also gave a session on conditioning child athletes. That session was very well received and beautifully delivered by Matt as well.
All in all, I feel very grateful to have been able to share with all the people at the conference for another year. I think this is my 12th year presenting for Can Fit Pro and I’ve enjoyed them all. Great job Can Fit Pro!
Rory has done an excellent job of taking care of us all while here. Thanks to Rory, Vidya, Penny and I have a lot less travel stress when we come to Toronto. Rory knows the ropes here like a chimp in the jungle knows the vines.
We’ve enjoyed great home cooked meals (thanks to Rory’s Mother, Vidya and Penny), regular visits to the steam and sauna, and I’ve been able to do some tai-chi in the Music Park across the street.
Though the trip was very busy between teaching HLC 2, seeing clients and teaching at Can Fit Pro, it has been very lovely. The weather has also been very nice this year. Not too hot, not too cold. A Canadian California summer!
I will arrive home sometime after dinner with Penny tonight and can’t wait to get my bare feet on the ground in my garden and visit my stones and nature spirit friends. I’ve got a great book to read on the way home and I’m sure Penny does too, so off we go!
Forgive me if I am too tired to blog tomorrow, but I’ll be back as soon as I’ve got some wind in my sails!
In the mean time, don’t forget to register for the CHEK Conference! I have lots of great presentations for you there and so do many other great presenters. I’m looking forward to seeing and playing with you there!!
Love and chi,
Paul Chek
