Hello and good morning!

I dream of your well-being each day. I’ve just finished a lovely couple weeks off; I did do a little blogging and email catch up, but for the most part, I had a lovely time resting and playing at home. These were my choices – choices to meet my inner-needs so I can stay committed to my legacy.

We all have to make choices throughout the day, from what we will eat and what we will do with our will power, to who and what we choose to love.

While on vacation, I studied an excellent documentary called, “Choices” by Dr. Gordon Hasick. This is an excellent documentary that should be part of every child and adult’s education. It has three parts:
1. Discovering Choices
2. Developing Choices, and
3. Making Choices.

This DVD is not available on Amazon, but is available at www.c1film.com. Well worth the purchase!

Last week Penny, myself and Vidya took a few days at Warner Hot Springs for some R&R!  A wonderful natural setting, the water was restorative, the silence stunning, and the nature spirits healing.

As Vidya and I were hiking in Warner Springs, I saw the amazing beauty of the rocks and how life grows out of them; life we all depend upon for our own existence. You can see me connecting to the rock and the life on the rock here. After our hike, I drew the image that appeared in my inner-sanctum, which you can see here. Everything is in a constant process of change, and in that process of ever-changing, we are all faced with choices. Who am I? Who am I becoming? How can I best love myself and others?…

It is our answers to these choices that define who we are and what we stand for. These choices, made or unmade, define our values. Your values determine what tribe you are in. When we choose to be self-responsible, we join the tribe of beings that are self-responsible. If we are new to that tribe, the wise ones of that tribe become our chosen teachers. It is my dream that my life and work help anyone willing to make healthy choices for themselves to do so, for when we make healthy choices for ourselves, we are at once, making healthy choices for the world. Then, naturally, we become guides for all whom choose to emulate us. If what we choose to do for ourselves would improve the world if emulated by all, then metaphorically, we are sharing the gift of world-healing.

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
