Zoltan thought processIf you had to choose, between thinking or feeling, what process would you use initially to make the best decision for yourself?

Automatically, most people would consider the aggregation of facts than sifting through them via the thought process to be the most important step one could take.

But does that take into account all of the knowledge you need to make a good decision? And, how often does personal bias influence that decision, good or bad? Maybe, thoughts aren’t all they’re cracked up to be…

A simple example of thoughts getting in the way from my perspective is how my clients view the cold plunge. It’s always blown my mind that people who are very physically fit and seem very robust and rigorous loudly reject any notion of trying a cold plunge, even after spending 30 minutes of doing heavy lifting in my rock garden.

When they reject the cold water, I ask them to suspend any thoughts about it and start paying attention to what their bodies tell them. I can’t tell you how many times clients have told me afterward how much they love the feeling of being in a cold plunge even for a minute.

If your thought process is getting in the way of living your life to the fullest, I hope you’ll check out this excerpt from my recent Living 4D conversation with Matthew Zoltan in which we discuss how connecting through feeling provides much of the information you need and why thinking yourself out of problems doesn’t work nearly so well.
