Do you have a place in your home where you can sit quietly, comfortably and hold your intention in such a way that your mind isn’t roaming to things you must do during your day?

If you have those simple elements already in place, you have a good start on developing a meditation practice of your own. But, if you’re not quite there yet, this excerpt from my recent Q&A session with Penny should give you some extra guidance…

Here’s one simple meditation technique that has worked for me: Find that quiet, comfortable spot in your home, then relax your mind and try to count to 10. If you get distracted after 4, work on the process until you get there.

I’ve read books by monks who have been meditating for 30 years and had a hard time making it to 10.
