Toughness Versus Stupidity With Craig WellerIt never fails to amuse me to watch meatheads playing mind games trying to “out-tough” each other in the weight rooms of local gyms.

I’ve seen so many people destroy themselves trying to show off how tough they are so often has made me wonder if they really know when their bodies cross the line between hurt and true harm…

During my recent Living 4D podcast with former U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman (SWCC) Craig Weller, I felt compelled to ask him where the lines should be drawn between being tough and stupid.

Craig says crossing that line depends a lot on how narrow and fixated you are with that goal you want to achieve. Toughness as an isolated variable can only get you so far.

In this blog/vlog excerpt from my Living 4D podcast, Craig describes the line between being so fixated on a goal that you can get hurt in a real-life situation in the battlefield during a Marine sniper training exercise involving a venomous snake.

If Craig’s story doesn’t make you reconsider what toughness does to athletes or soldiers in a vacuum and the value of common sense in these situations… no amount of help anyone could give you will matter.

Love and chi,
