Constipation & Biological Oscillators

Constipation is a term that indicates “incomplete elimination of feces.” Constipation is a challenge for about 90-85% of the world population today, depending on whose statistics you look at. Constipation is a condition that expresses imbalances of our biological oscillators.

When we are constipated, a tremendous amount of additional stress is put on the body as a whole. If fecal waste (poop) is not moved out of the body efficiently (an average of 12 inches or 30 cm. daily), toxins can leach through the intestinal wall into the body. This causes a condition commonly referred to as “autointoxication”, or “self poisoning.”

In Chapter 14: Is Your Digestion System Healthy?, in my book How To Eat Move and Be Healthy, I included a section on the “Poopie Policeman Line-up,” which shows visual bowel stool health and imbalance.

Another real concern with being constipated is that the prolonged transit time through the colon invites infestation by pathogenic bacteria, fungal spores, and a wide variety of parasites.

I explain how to heal from fungal and parasite infections in my DVD program titled “Healing Fungal and Parasite Infections – The Absolute Essentials.”

Constipation is also a common indicator that our autonomic nervous system is under regulatory stress; meaning that we are unable to balance the catabolic (tissue destructive) and anabolic (growth and repair) functions effectively and fatigue, illness and/or disease are more likely.

In my video vlog today, I share an explanation of what biological oscillators are, and how using Work-In exercises, such as the “zone exercises” in my book “How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!” can balance your biological oscillators.

I demonstrate a Zone 1, work-in exercise called “The Breathing Squat”, and share how anyone, even those in hospital beds or wheel chairs can participate in work-in exercises.

After explaining how biological oscillators work, and taking you through the experience of an exercise to balance them, I share common causes of constipation such as dehydration and medical drugs.

I also highlight the influence that our mind has on our body and what the correlation between a “busy mind and a constipated body” is.
