Happy Friday!
Life is busy right now with finishing year-end projects etc.
Yesterday I had a fantastic meeting with our new CHEK COO Jennifer Baker, Penny and Vidya. I must say it is a great relief to have her on board to help Penny manage the Institute and staff.
I was able to get into the gym for some great deadlifting and pumping. Later when I was on the CHEK Trained Professional Call I walked up and down hills surrounding my Heaven house and spent the 90 minutes answering questions from my students all over the world. Thanks to those of you who called in and asked your excellent and complex questions.
I had a great interview with HLC3, Matt D’Amour of Yum Butter where I talked about the importance of grounding ourselves with the 4 Doctors: Happiness, Diet, Quiet and Movement.
I’m very excited to announce that I will be offering a 1-day workshop: How To Find Your SELF in Nature at zen In The Garden, Friday, January 9, 2014. I’ll be holding it here at my Heaven House in Escondido CA and hope you will join myself, Vidya and many other wonderful people. I only have a limited number of spaces for this workshop and it will fill up fast. I promise that this workshop is the perfect antidote to the busy Holiday season and prepare you to fully set in motion your intentions for 2014. See you here!
Handling Challenging Family Members During the Holidays
In today’s video, I share tips to help you with your challenging family members during the Holidays. As many of you experience, getting together with family during this time year brings its own challenges.
Remember:
1. Everyone is Loving the best that they can.
2. Determine safe distance for loving: I define Love as the flow of energy and information through “connection.”
3. Give empathy: Guess wants, needs, feelings or fears.
4. Ask yourself: Am I safe right now?
5. Ride the bike of relationship.
6. Be responsible for your own inner joy!
I hope that these tips help you to better self-manage yourself and create more ease and fun with the family members you are challenged by.
Love and chi,
Paul Chek
